of lately.

December 25, 2011

A sunny ray caressed the whole room and it touched the two girls sleeping under their Christmas tree.  The older girl woke up, smiled and whispered to her little sister "Merry Christmas, Morgan."  The little girl ventured to peep out from under several afghans and returned the oh! so delightful good-morning welcome.  They eventually, after much giggling, planning and general excitement, got out of bed and the day proceeded.

The Christmas tree stood all arrayed in a corner, little lights shone everywhere off of it, and the presents, nestled under a roof of branches.  A fire roared and whistled, firelight flickered, carols sang in the background, a dance of rain drops was heard on the roof throughtout Christmas day.

Presents were given and the smiles from all the children must have been the most beautiful thank you ever.  I love every little present and every little card and every little look of love.  And I thank my wonderful, bestest family in the world for everything.  Every little thing.

I hope you have a wonderful week, m'dears.
Merry, merry, merry Christmas.
Love,
Gabby
